Sara Grace Co. Store Policies

All sales, including layaway are FINAL. No refunds, exchanges, store credit or cancellations under any circumstances.

Discount items are sold "as is" and are payable in full at the time of purchase. Repairs on discounted items may be done for an additional charge.

Layaway items must be paid in full and picked up within 30 days from original date of purchase. Items not picked up or paid within 30 days will become the property of Sara Grace Co. and all previous payments or deposits will be forfeited by the customer.

In-store exchange or credit only on gift purchases. Store credit will be good for 1 year from date of original purchase.

All special orders are FINAL SALE. No returns, exchanges or order cancellations are allowed once the order is placed with the manufacturer. You are responsible for full payment.

Sara Grace Co. is not responsible for dress size changes due to weight loss or gain that may occur once the order has been placed

Called in measurements provided by the customer are assumed to be correct. The customer or their representative will make the final decision on the dress size, and will not hold Sara Grace Co. culpable for the size decision. Additional charges may apply for special orders requiring extra length, plus sizing, rush cuts, etc. Please contact a consultant at Sara Grace Co. for additional pricing information.

Any new or re-orders after the initial order has been placed will incur additional charges for which the customer will be responsible, in addition to the payment in full for the original purchase.

A $10.00 service fee will be assessed on all pre-order sizing and/or measurements taken by our store. The $10.00 fee can be applied to the dress order. Otherwise, it is considered a non-refundable service fee.

A minimum of 50% down payment is to be paid at the time of the order, with the balance to be paid within 30 days of notification that the ordered item is in our store. Customers wanting items shipped to them must first pay off all balances.

Special order items must be picked up or shipped to customer within 30 days of notification of merchandise arrival, unless you make special arrangements with our store. Otherwise, a $5 per day storage fee will be assessed to your account. Any orders with unpaid balances longer than 45 days from notification of merchandise arrival will be turned over to a collection agency and your credit may be effected.

Cancellation of this contract before the order is placed with the manufacturer will result in a $30.00 per item service fee. The remaining balance will become STORE CREDIT, good for 1 year from the date of the original purchase.

Paid in full special order items left in our store longer than 45 days will become the property of Sara Grace Co. and all payments will be forfeited by the customer.

In the event we are unable to provide you with the merchandise by your wear date, this contract is null and void and you will receive a full refund.

Please note special order dresses are NOT made to your exact measurements. Your measurements help to determine what size category you are in based upon the designer's size chart. Most dresses run smaller, so it is not uncommon to order a larger size than you normally wear in the department stores. Your bust, waist, hip and height measurements will determine what size to order. It is always best to ignore the size number and just go by the designer's measurement chart. A consultant will work with you to help you determine what size category you are fitting into. Alterations are often required to fit the dress to your exact body type.The final size determination is ultimately your decision and we will order whatever size you request. Sara Grace Co. will not be held culpable for the size decision.

Special orders can take anywhere from 3 to 4 months to arrive. Therefore, it is best to place your order no less than 6 to 8 months in advance of your wedding date. This will allow sufficient time for alterations. Some designers offer rushes or carry hanging stock. Additional charges apply for rushes. A consultant can answer any questions you have regarding ordering time.
